Paul Thomas Reinhold (aka, PT,
Paulie, the lefty bass kid) is a promising young musician who was
born into "the biz" by many generations of talent. His grandpa,
Tommy Clayton, played accordion for "Sons of the Purple Sage" and
toured with the Lone Ranger; his Mom,
BethAnne Clayton, an
established singer/songwriter in the New Jersey/Nashville areas.
As a natural talent, Paul began singing at age 4, and wrote and
recorded his first song "I Love Santa Claus" at age 5. Being
surrounded by music all the time, Paulie gravitated towards the bass
and hasn't looked back. He rapidly picked up the technique of lefty
bass and has acquired quite the collection to choose from. Paul
frequents "jam" nights around town, and also was accepted into the "ROCKIT!
for Kids" program at Count Basie where he performs in their
quarterly concerts.
In addition to playing with his mom's band every chance he gets,
Paul performs with "4th Period" under the direction of Matt Kiley
and has also performed with
Holiday
Express for the last few years where he adds a smile to
everyone's face with his rendition of "I
Love Santa Claus". Be on the lookout for this kid....his
determination has him reaching for the stars!
